Tip Sheets: Helping Families & Students with Transitions<\/strong>
\nEaster Seals Ontario, in partnership with Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital and the Ontario Association of Children\u2019s Rehabilitation Services (OACRS), is very excited to announce the launch of a series of tip sheets to support families of students with disabilities through school transitions. These tip sheets promote the development of independence and self-advocacy to support their full participation as adults.The \u2018Parent Tips\u2019 include information on how to deal with accessibility, health and personal care supports, and special equipment. Parent Tip Sheets are available in English, French, Farsi, Punjabi, Simplified Chinese and Spanish.\u2018Student Tips\u2019 cover the move to secondary and post-secondary school and are available in English and French.<\/p>\n
