A Child\u2019s Voice Foundation<\/strong>
\nKids Life-Line is a program that extends a helping hand when all other resources have been exhausted and there is no where else to turn. It is a one time fulfillment of a necessary product or service that will enhance a child\u2019s quality of life. This can include, but is not limited to, necessary support and assistance with small medical equipment and supplies, in-home nursing care or therapy, required short term therapies, transportation, parking permits, medication, dental procedures and specialized or needed furniture or equipment.<\/p>\n

Ontario March of Dimes: Home and Vehicle Modification Program<\/strong>
\nThe Home & Vehicle Modification Program is now available to all individuals with disabilities\/impairments that restrict mobility, regardless of age. Please be advised that applicants with an annual family income greater than $35,000 may be required to contribute to the cost of their modifications. For applicants 18 years of age and over, family income is calculated based on the incomes of the applicant and his\/her spouse. For those under 18 years of age, the incomes of both parents are considered.<\/p>\n

Refund of Sales Tax for Vehicles<\/strong>
\nUnder certain conditions a refund of retail sales tax may be obtained on certain licensed motor vehicles purchased for the purpose of transporting people with permanent physical disabilities. Tax paid on long term leases, those 12 months or longer, may also be refunded.<\/p>\n
